Service description
Milestone is web-based childcare management software for centre operations, including enrollment, child records, rooms, scheduling, attendance, billing, payments, staff records, payroll support, reports, exports, and forms.
Accounts and authorized users
Access is intended for authorized centre operators, staff, and platform administrators. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for using the account only for legitimate centre work.
Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the app, upload malicious files, bypass security controls, or use Milestone for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity.
Customer responsibility for data entered
Childcare centres are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, retention, and use of the operational data they enter, import, upload, or invite users to manage in Milestone.
Subscriptions and payment
Subscription and payment terms may be set out in a separate order form, invoice, statement of work, or written agreement. If no separate terms apply, continued access may depend on the centre maintaining an active account in good standing.
Intellectual property
Milestone, the app interface, software, workflows, and related materials are owned by the service operator or its licensors. Centres retain responsibility for and rights in their own operational records, subject to the permissions needed to provide the service.
Availability
Milestone is operated with the goal of reliable access, but maintenance, provider outages, internet issues, security events, or other interruptions may affect availability. The service is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitations
Milestone supports centre administration but does not replace professional legal, accounting, payroll, childcare compliance, or safety advice. Centres should verify reports, exports, invoices, and operational decisions before relying on them.
